Dear David,
Thank you, for the time you took to respond to my emails even before I joined Hack Hollywood. I apprecaite your knowledge and willingness to help actors of ANY level towards achieving success. I look forward to implementing your programs and having a paradigm shift towards my appoarach to this industry. Your “goodwill”, is spreading like wildfires! Thank you again and continued success to you and all the Hack Hollywood members! Cheers!
Bernadette
Good quality information, and David is so attentive and kind to respond to any questions. Thanks Hack Hollywood!
I’ve been with hack Hollywood for about a month. I probably about midway through Module 1 and its taught me about things that I didnt think of before I joined. Even though I have been doing it for a month, I am just now starting to incorporate some of the things that David has talked about. I was skeptical at first, but the information he has been giving so far through Module 1 has been solid advice.
I’ve been with Hack Hollywood for a few weeks now and I’m so glad I joined! Listening to Module 1 so far has put me back on track with my career and has also empowered me to continue pressing forward. What I really needed was focus, and now that I have it, I feel unstoppable. It’s a great place to chat with other hacktors and support one another along our journey and David is a fantastic mentor. I love how David gets right to the point in the modules, because it’s that kind of honesty that will get people places. I look forward to reading about everyone’s progress and most of all, for doing what I’m passionate about! 🙂
Great advice. I’m glad I signed up for this. It has a lot of value to it also. 🙂
Hey there! Currently working on module 1. Its great to hear some of the things I’ve held to be “true” being blown to bits. Makes me happy. More specifically, the legitimacy (or lack thereof) of workshops, the legitimacy of bravery in the business and the pursuit of greatness (from the end of the accountability talk – #42). Thank you so much for this perspective. Looking forward to growing with this!
Hey Hey!!!….I must say, I am still making my way through Module I, but that is only due to me having to personally take a step back in lieu of current events, and I really do not like rushing, or being rushed to complete anything, it’s about the process…typical artist I guess. Since I joined Hack Hollywood, numerous things have happened, all positive…I had a lot of ideas and thoughts confirmed, and I feel as though I have officially “awakened” without having to take the red pill. Although some days are still better than others, I do not feel as lost as I previously felt before joining, and I feel as though I am closer to obtaining my goals…I have yet to book anything but feel it is only a matter of time before I am given the opportunity to brighten someones day and dare I say life…I have recommended Hack Hollywood to a frustrated actor, and I will continue to recommend to anyone interested in progressing in acting…..I can’t say it enough, but David Patrick Green is one Awesome individual, and I am truly grateful and thankful our paths have crossed….look forward to meeting you David!!
Thank You!!!

Hey David,
I’m writing to say thanks for the guidance and to let you know that because of it, I’m feeling very professional and accomplished.
Training in San Francisco at the American Conservatory was a worthy investment. Upon my return, I did film work that sadly won’t be out for at least a year, and spokesperson spots that are great work. I’m booked for theater but want to get more film, so I’ll be returning to Hack Hollywood soon to finish up the last module and learn how to make those connections.
I haven’t stopped posting my progress but did it in a blog where I credited you and Hack Hollywood with great value for actors. The article is here: http://caitlinburt.net/journal
I hope business is well and life is good. Thanks coach,
Caitlin
I just completed Module 1 and I’ve started Module 2. I just recently signed up for Hack Hollywood and I decided to commit to my career as an actor just February of this year.
I feel so grateful that David Patrick Green actually reads my accountability updates and that other “hacktors” are genuinely interested in supporting me and helping me out.
I’m also grateful for DPG’s approach to the business, which is straight forward and sound with his own success and learning from other people’s successes.
I know this is a very good investment for myself and my career and I am grateful to have found it this early in my acting career! 🙂
I am almost through module 1, and let me tell you it was very eye opening. Not only do I have a much stronger sense of what my “type” is, it’s made me realize and appreciate aspects of myself that make me, me. Excited to keep going. David, thank you so much for helping me get my confidence back. I am so excited about what I’m doing here!!
Great stuff, Julie. Keep it up. You can do this!
The best part about Hack Hollywood is the accessibility it gives you to an acting career. In the lessons you learn that acting is not just a dream attained by the lucky few, but an actual career that any hard-working individual can achieve. David teaches how the industry works, giving his students the steps and confidence they need to succeed. Plus the discussion boards create a supportive community of actors. David comments on nearly every post, so you get a lot of individual feedback. It’s been said here before, but it’s worth saying again, Hack Hollywood’s lessons not only apply to acting, but day-to-day life.
Thanks, Kelly! My reward is your success.
I am really glad I stumbled upon Hack Hollywood! I have been listening to the podcasts and videos for a few weeks now, and they’ve all been very inspirational and have opened my eyes to some things that I would have never even though of doing to better my acting career! So Thank you David for not keeping all the secrets to yourself! And I’ve noticed that a lot of information that you have shared can not only help acting but just life in general 🙂
Thanks, Fereshteh. Everything I teach/preach works in life as well because acting and life are the same! The same principles apply to being successful at anything.
Excellent advice and very informative videos. This has definitely helped me start my journey. Keep up the great work, David!
David really knows how to help you in this business to become a working actor. Recently I started doing auditions regularly and knowing proper etiquette on set & during auctions really is helpful and gets the casting directors eager to call me back. The first few modules will really help the beginners with pursuing an acting career. Module #3 I found the most helpful and well worth waiting to view as it helps the mature professional actor book gigs and develop the right projects best for my craft at this point in my career.
Cheers,
Alan
Thanks, Alan. You are a great student!
Hi David!
I’m currently going through module one of your online course, and I was going to email you once I had gotten through some more of it but I just can’t hold it in anymore! I’m only on the 11th video and I already have over 4 pages of notes! (Yes, I’m a total geek that way). Generally at workshops I’ll walk out of an hour session with two pages, and I pay over 100 dollars for those classes. You are wonderful and this is absolutely wonderful! Yippee! Thank you!!!! I have learnt so much ALREADY and feel so much more positive and enlightened. I can’t wait to see what more is coming!
Kind Regards,
C.C.
So glad you are enjoying it C.C.
David brings a refreshing honesty to the whole process…cuts through all the BS (yours included) and makes you take an evaluation about why you’re really trying to do what you do. It’s NOT just about talent or looks (though that doesn’t hurt), but you really need to understand that it is show-BUSINESS. You must have a business approach to what you’re doing or you will fail. And you must have common sense. And cordiality.
David just paints a path that is easy to follow but requires a commitment to be a complete person…not just an actor.
The knowledge David’s sharing on this website is incredible. Not just for acting only, but for your life!
I’ve been to several acting mentors. nothing and I mean NOTHING can compare with the things David is teaching me.
He’s honest, he goes straight to the point and does not waste time, he’s patient and takes time to respond to every single comment on the discussion board. and the most important thing is that HE’S NOT HERE FOR THE DARN MONEY!
Thank you David!
Thank you Chasin for the kind words. That is so generous of you 🙂
The knowledge and experience shared by David is highly valuable to actors of various levels. I have already seen pleasing results and I have been approached by local film makers after following David’s advice. I’m no where near being finished module one, so I can only imagine my results with more progress!
As a non U.S based actor, the information provided is just as relevant to me as anyone else. Although the title of the site is Hack Hollywood, don’t be fooled, it should be Hack Anywhere!!
A great actor and business resource.
Cheers
I could tell from starting on the material three weeks ago that I would be strengthening my own common sense…but little did I know just how simple having and following your dream is.
David is the kind of teacher who does not only disseminate tons of helpful information, but causes you to recognize and overcome your own resistances, habits, ego, and fear. This uncanny ability, plus his rare combination of wit, humor, wisdom, compassion, and toughness make him an invaluable resource.
I am so glad I stumbled upon Hack Hollywood!
All I have to say is yes yes yes baby. I’m sharing HH right now on FB with fellow actors.
Hi David,
I’m a new “Hacktor”, halfway through Module 1 and I really dig it so far. It wasn’t what I was expecting at all, I really love everything you talk about in the mindset part. I also love how you are making us accountable as actors! I can’t wait to hear what else you have to say! Thank you!!
I have been with Hack Hollywood for the past month and so far I am very pleased with the modules and the information that David offers.
Its sound advice that not only can help you further your acting career but also just basic life advice that can help your life in general.
I love his emphasis on common sense and not setting limitations for yourself. The modules are great and I love it because he is very direct and everything he says is to the point. No BS. As an actor there are many websites and things that offer you a lot but I must say so far I think it was a wise choice to have decided to make this investment!
I have been a member at hackhollywood for 2 months now and I could not be more satisfied with the sound advice that David offers. Since I am still in school I have not experienced a lot of the common Do’s and Don’ts of amateur and professional acting. I am glad I found David’s website early in the game so that I don’t have to waste time and money to have the career of my dreams. Whether it’s starting out right or even starting over right, it feels great to BE in control of my goals, training, and career.
Hi,
I have been here just a short time. I joined to try to help my teenager get more focused on his goals and take his acting career by the horns. I want to support him, but not do everything for him! So far I have enjoyed some of MOdule 1 and 2 and and two of the working actor interviews. I found the first interview on the page valuable; the second one lost me a bit.
Last week I managed to do our first mailing of 50 postcards to most of the Casting Directors/CD Offices that my son met this year. It was a lot of work, but with personal notes on each one, felt good to stay in touch with some people he hasn’t seen since spring or summer.
My son is starting to realize he needs to do more, but he needs to figure out which things he wants to do, as when I direct him, of course, as a teenager, that doesn’t work too well. We hope to consult with DPG in January and see if he can pick it up a bit and focus on what shows he wants to target, etc etc. Happy Holidays everyone, and I hope you all have a fruitful 2014.
I discovered Hack Hollywood through Backstage and after one webinar I was hooked. It is that simple! David’s insight into the business and his passion for the work and helping actors was so obvious that I knew it would be a mistake not to join the Hacktors team. I’m not even through Module 1 yet, but every minute I listen to feels like taking another step towards reaching my destination. There is an absolute goldmine of relevant information on HH that I cannot wait to get my hands on, and luckily for me David is more than happy to share the wealth. Thank you again, David!
I’ve been acting for a few years in NYC and felt like I kind of lost my way. Sometimes it would be good, sometimes not much happening. Other times left guessing if what I was doing was helping my career or hurting it or taking me in the right direction even. I started spending a lot of money on things and not seeing much return.
I signed up immediately after I heard what David had to say. I like the “no bullshit” approach used by HH to get you in the game and give you a step by step guideline to do so. I’ve only been in the program less than a month but it has already opened my eyes to a lot of things in the business.
I think Hack Hollywood is a great side of my acting career because it keeps me focused and makes me work harder and harder. Things are going really fast for me and I love it, I don’t think I will be slowing down anytime soon. David is great and he knows how to work the method.
My favorite thing about Hack Hollywood is that the advice is coming from someone who’s been on my exact journey. Not some acting “guru” or lottery-winner actor, but someone who has seen it all. David genuinely seems to care about each of his Hacktors individually and wants us to experience the same kind of success he’s had. A mentor in this crazy industry is truly invaluable.
I love Hack Hollywood because all the advise is from a professional actor for actors wanting to be professional actors. Birds of a feather flock together as the saying goes. I love that I can email him and get advise at any time. I also love that other actors are on here sharing their journey. Acting involves way more than just memorizing a monologue or doing well on a cold read. David helps you on all aspects of becoming a professional actor. It’s so easy a caveman can do it, you just got to put in the work and leave out the negative. I’m new to Hack Hollywood and I am loving the journey! See you at the top! -Joel A.
Hack Hollywood is essential to an acting career. David takes time out of his busy schedule to upload countless lengthy videos and podcasts to enrich the minds of us actors! He goes into detail about any aspect of acting you can think of and provides you with real life experiences. He teaches you step by step lessons and provides valuable advice that you can apply everyday to your career and knowledge of the craft, business, and YOURSELF as a person and a human.
I’ve never felt more in tune with myself and my mindset for the future. And I’m barely into Module 2!
Regardless of experience, connections, or knowledge that you have of acting prior to joining this site, I strongly believe the material within his training modules is beneficial to actors at any step in their career.
Even if you’ve heard or seen the majority of the stuff he’s informing you of (which is unlikely), it’s still good to receive advice and guidance from someone who’s a working professional actor and who is easy to listen to!
He has a lot to say and it’s all helpful. Listen and take notes!
Thanks Hack Hollywood.
I recently joined Hack Hollywood and am loving all of the information I get on here. I love that you can hear from others what they are doing and you can let people know how you are doing and we can all learn from each other! I’m super excited about being a Hacktor!
I am so grateful to have found Hack Hollywood. It has given me the jumping off point I needed to restart my career and find excitement in it again. Knowing there is support out there and accountability for my my goals really helps me to focus on what is important to move forward (even if it is a baby step!).
One thing that has been priceless to me is the new mindset I am discovering in myself. I no longer feel that I am doomed to struggle and be miserable with the choice I have made to be an actor. The self empowerment this creative field used to give me is now back!
Thank you HH! I am excited to see what is in store for my future and looking forward to the process!
So happy we are all here to help one another!
David’s book “BECOME A FAMOUS ACTOR 5 Insider Acting Secrets They Don’t Want You To Know” was spectacular. I could not have found a more honest insider look into the entertainment industry elsewhere. With real experience and insight, David confronted my misconceptions and personal fears about becoming an actor. I am currently in college and studying theater, but I had no clue what to do after I graduate. I heard of different things to do for instance: get head shots often, submit for auditions online, carry full business attire with you at all times, and many more things that seem to make sense. However I never had any specific goals other than, “I want to be a movie star.” I didn’t know how I was going to achieve that. From reading David’s book, I now have specific goals for my acting career. I know what I want to do and how I will achieve it. Most importantly, I now feel like I have a shot in the mysterious entertainment world and I know how to achieve my career goals with the training I am currently receiving. This book could not have helped me more. I am overjoyed that I took the chance to read it!
David’s advice is some of the most honest and potent you will ever find. I’ve gotten a lot of advice through the years and I can honestly say that David’s is by far the best. Hack Hollywood is one-of-a-kind. There is nothing like it! It is simple, straightforward and based on common sense. It is enlightening, uplifting and truly empowering. I wish I would have found David and Hack Hollywood years ago!!! But I am so grateful I did! Thank you David, sincerely, for sharing your life and work with us! It’s amazing!
God bless you David! Your site hackhollywood has opened my eyes and I just subscribed a few weeks ago. It would have been nice to have this site a few years ago, it would have saved me a lot of time and money.
There is an immense amount of great information in hackhollywood given by David and industry professionals, all of which are easy to understand and follow. There is even a forum where actors can learn from one another.
Hackhollywood hacks through all of the scams and misconceptions out there in the acting world. It’s kind of like The MATRIX, as soon as you subscribe to hackhollywood you are essentially taking the red pill and suddenly you are awakened by the truth on how to get ahead in Hollywood and the acting business.
It opend my eyes !
I am being kept accountable and I’m motivated, and a lot of that is thanks to David. He has good material and will get you well on your way. He also cares a lot about his hacktors and I love the common sense business background he comes from. His perspectives are refreshing to say the least. It’s a whole class but costs so so much less than any class. Enjoy!
I’m still on Module 1 and am listening to all the insight David has and as I listen to it, I often nod my head in agreement, as in I subconsciously knew this because it’s common sense, but I haven’t expressed it. I mean why shouldn’t I do what everyone is doing? Isn’t it THE WAY? I’m struggling with confidence and belief that I can have a successful acting career because a. I’m no longer in my prime years and for a woman in the entertainment business starting out late is pretty much pointless (self-limiting belief) and b. I have an accent that’s barely there but it’s there. I think I need to get on the boards as David recommends to be accountable on the progress of reducing my accent. I’ve been passionate about acting for over 10 years now but haven’t made the leap to be confident enough to make it a business. I’ve never been taught that I could be a business and see myself as such, so I”m hoping that if I follow David’s wisdom it will happen.
I have been involved in the industry on and off since 1983, I have done countless workshops, attended seminars and done all the things I have been told as necessary to do. Sure I have had work, extra, small bit parts etc but David Green and Hack Hollywood have taken all the BS out and now I am starting to really understand the industry. I combine my acting and writing and I find that Hack Hollywood helps both.
I know it has changed my attitude, motivation and desire to never give up and I wont hesitate to recommend Hack Hollywood to actors young and old, experienced or new. It is the answer to an actor’s prayer. Congatulations David.

Great site you have got here.. It’s difficult to find high quality writing like yours these days. I seriously appreciate individuals like you! Take care!!
A tremendous thanks to David for giving valuable info and direction in this challenging journey into acting. The fluff that’s shown to us everyday is filtered out leaving the raw and motivational core of it all in this well paced and personal road map! I’m wrapping an indy horror film that will have a theatre release this October and I can’t wait for what else is I store for me!!
I’ve been studying full time in LA to become an actor the past two and a half years and am glad I ran into Hack Hollywood’s program. I was so over all the self proclaiming ‘gurus’ and ‘mentors’ with absolutely no credits or reputable experience except their big ego’s. David at HH is teaching what he has shown to be true in a business minded no non sense way. Hack Hollywood is for any actor and I wish I could sign up half of my acting friends so they could get their head out of their asses and realize what they need to be doing. Hack Hollywood goes beyond acting advice, it is valuable and important information for business and life in general. Thanks David.
I joined HH about 3 weeks ago and I’ve found David’s videos and audios very educational. His advise and no nonsense style is refreshing. He tells it like it is. He’s very hands on and keeps tabs on your progress.
Hack Hollywood is amazing. David is so generous and selfless with his advice, he really takes the time to give you a good solid and honest answer to your questions. And the support within the Hacktor community is awesome. So far I am loving it! It is inspiring and a great motivator to achieve your dreams and goals.
So far I have to say that I am so happy I took the plunge and decided to join hackhollywood! I have to say I was a little hesitant at first, but since I have been here I have learned a ton, and also love that I have somewhere where I have motivation to do the things I need to do to succeed. Thanks David!!
It’s all about staying focused and staying positive and most importantly staying true to yourself. Hack Hollywood helps you cut through the crap and find your unique path.
Hey David, Thanks so much for sharing what really works in this business instead of feeding us the bulls–t we usually get. Your insight is most appreciated!
I am very appreciative of the savvy, straightforward, and thoughtful advice David provides. I’m new to HH, but not new to the business — this is my second foray into the acting world after several decades (yes decades) away. While I wasn’t sure all the HH info would be useful and actionable for me when I signed-on, I’ve found that I am benefiting in more ways that I expected. I’m learning different methods of doing the basics and, most importantly, what I need to focus on in the time I have available any given day. From a learning perspective, by listening/watching each module segment and by hearing David explain each topic in different ways, with concrete examples, the listener takes in much more than meets-the-eye. David has developed a very effective and affordable package for new and experienced actors that is making a big difference in my thinking and my approach to this profession. I appreciate it.
I just want to say that your program is very well structured. It must have taken you a lot of time setting up and organizing this website.
I really appreciated the video “Your gift is yourself”. What you said in it is so true!
I’m so happy I found Hack Hollywood website.
Hey David,
I love the Hack Hollywood program. This material is a breath of fresh air.
I’ve been pursuing my career for about a year now. I’ve been studying on acting careers through books, and many acting course programs online. All of them have said the same thing: Mass mailings to casting directors and agents, and follow up with postcards, etc. I did the mailings and did get a little success. I got called in for a general audition with a casting director, which led to me getting auditions with them on a regular basis. I got a couple of good gigs through them.
But, overall, I got nothing from mailings.
One of the mailings I did to a casting director only got me on their mailing list where I receive emails about their “lovely” casting director workshops. It was frustrating because I didn’t know what else to do.
I love how in your videos I’ve went through so far, you said to throw that out. Nobody else is saying in their programs what you’re saying.
It’s more about building a few solid relationships than mass blind mailing submissions. The funny thing is that most of the work I get is from relationships I’ve built with directors and producers from previous projects. There’s a director I’ve worked with on 2 previous projects. I recently did a third film where he offered me the role without auditioning. The writer even told me that they thought about me while they were writing it which was awesome. I’m meeting with another director tonight who wants to talk to me about his next film he’s doing where he wants to cast me in it.
I can’t wait to continue in this program. This information is not being mentioned anywhere else. Within the next couple of days, I will be signing up to the program. I look forward to going on this journey. Thank you for this program.
-Brent B.
Hi David,
I just watched your #12 video, “Can You Handle Success.” I’m on the 14 day trial. I’m thinking I am going to join as what you offer is really very priceless in this industry.
I’m a real estate by day, and your focus on treating acting as a business is really great. I have sat in on countless real estate oriented webinars and seminars. I’ve even had a coach and have been trained with scripts and things to learn how to speak with people in regards to their home selling/buying needs. Guess, for me, real estate and acting are a lot alike which is probably one reason I’m drawn to real estate. There are definitely strong similarities between both. And selling is a part of life in what ever we’re doing. Treating acting like a business, this is something I’ve been thinking about for some time because of my real estate training.
Regarding this fear you speak of. I am afraid of success, and this fear is prevalent in my entire life. For one thing, I am not very successful in real estate. Oh, I’ve made a few sales, and I am constantly learning and keeping up with the latest info. But, in actual sales, I know I can do more. What stops me? This fear of success is largely to blame. This goes for my acting interest as well. I mean, all my life I’ve avoided responsibility. Well, certain responsibilities are fine. I rescue and take good care of my pets. I have a great guy I’ve been with for 9 years. I help my aging grandma by taking her shopping, etc, and I am committed to her for the rest of her life.
But when it comes to career stuff, I’m a mess. It’s the responsibility thing, like you mentioned in the video. I’m going to have to face my fear(s) head on. Can’t keep running away from them my entire life. I’m 42 years old and the clock’s not going to go backward for any do overs.
Anyway, I don’t want to make this too long (since it’s already too long), so I won’t elaborate further. You get the drift. Thanks so much for making this stuff available to us. You’ve inspired me to take another look into the possibility of acting as a profession. If anything, I know I will learn a lot.
This particular video really struck me so thought I’d tell.
Thanks=D

One I came upon Hack Hollywood
for the first time and hadn’t joined yet, all I had to do was listen to the intro and insight David gives about Hack Hollywood and I instantly joined!! I don’t regret a minute of my time I spend on Hack Hollywood, David is truly one of a kind. If anyone who is an aspiring actor/actress I truly recommend this site. 🙂 🙂
Thank you so much Patricia…over time the word will spread and at some point there will be no actors who are wandering around the wilderness, blind to what they should or could be doing. We all have the power to get what we want. Sometimes, we just need need a little direction. Can’t wait to see your acting career blossom.
I joined Hack Hollywood just under a month ago, I was on the fence about it for a few months only because I was still learning who I could trust in this industry and if I could afford the cost of the site. I can tell you now that what you will learn from David more than outweighs the cost, which is really inexpensive anyway. I know myself pretty good, and I still really enjoyed going through Module 1 and remembering things that I know. And, having someone in this industry who genuinely cares about another person’s success is hard to find these days, in any career. And, the things that are taught can be used throughout your life not just in your acting career. Give Hack Hollywood a chance, you might like it.
Wow, thank you Sam…as always, I’m humbled by your trust in me and our site…you are on your way!
I’m currently in my 3rd year of advanced actor training at The Bull Alley Theatre Training Company at Liberties College Dublin and so I’ll be out in the big bad world in June 2013. The acting world needs me but it will have to wait a little.
David Patrick Green is the real deal. If your serious about your acting career, then you should seriously consider giving Hack Hollywood a try.
David cuts right through the B.S. What I definitely like best about Hack Hollywood so far is his confirming that things like mass mailings of headshots and workshop type meetings with casting directors and producers is a waste of your time and money, if what you’re really trying to accomplish is accelerating your acting career. I also think it’s a great step towards self actualization that he encourages you to know yourself and to be true to yourself. It’s also a breath of fresh air to hear someone (besides myself) finally saying that only those who have been successful working actors can tell you what it takes to be a successful working actor AND that people who do casting don’t know what they want until you show them what they want. This stuff is priceless! David would be the first one to admit that this kind of advice will make him unpopular with certain people in Hollywood, but you can’t help but note that it all has a ring of truth to it when you hear it, BECAUSE it’s the unvarnished truth.
Hi, David
I am very thankful that I found the hackhollywood academy and became a member.
as everything new in life, we all need to find out what we get involved with. Slowly but surely, after listening the module 1 and 2, I know I am in a good hand now.
The online module allows me to step into an artistic mode any time I need. To be inspired, motivated, and encouraged; not to be side tracked or off tracked. I believe this is very important to me and to us– the actors–the artists. We need a positive environment that we can lean on to AT ALL TIME, particularly when we face some tough challenges in the real world, there is hackhollywood, a support system we can fall back on.
That is why I felt that I have a metor who believes in me strongly, believes my talent can grow and will fly.
I am amazed that just how much information David is teaching us, like he is pulling his heart, pulling his soul, and pulling his teeth for us..:)) to make us believe that—-I CAN DO IT,YOU CAN TOO. So far…we are into the module 2, and I am overwhelming by all the knowledge he is teaching…well..,need to say..THIS IS AN ACADEMY, not a weekend workshop…
Final say….Thank you so very much! David
I am a very happy student and very happy customer!

I am so pleased with David’s Hack Hollywood program! It is well-organized and well-implemented. The modules are full of useful information; the discussions are relevant and inspiring. The mentor phone calls provide a personalized, human element that is often lacking in training programs. After wasting hundreds (thousands, if I am honest) on workshops and classes that were basically nothing more than an ego massage for the presenters, it’s so refreshing to know that this investment has more than paid for itself. I am glad that I discovered it, and gladly recommend it!
I am 100 % on the same page with David’s creation, Hack Hollywood. This is absolutely the best investment (totally inexpensive) I have made to see my dream of being a working professional actor become a reality. I am deeply grateful to David for two reasons: One – the content and quality of the information he is sharing is invaluable and a completely new paradigm for how to succeed as a professional actor, and Two – David’s rediculously unselfish, infinite generosity, and obvious sincere care and compassion for fellow actors seeking success. He shares all his valuable knowledge with passion and a genuine desire to help us. Thank you David 🙂
Warm regards,

Thanks Paul. I can only try to live up to your high praise!
Thank you David, you’re a needed Voice in the entertainment industry! As one who has found success as professional actor, you help clear the way through the myths and misconceptions many performers have entering the business. I wish you the best as you coach and mentor those who seek to “hack” Hollywood!

I can’t remember how I stumbled over the notice about David’s webinar podcast, but, I’m sure glad I did. First validation for me was Jenn Gotzon’s good words about him. I know her and trust her. I’m in training module #2 and so much of David’s advice is exactly what I’ve been told by other acting coaches I respect so, that for me was another validation. Following his advice about workshops, headshots, and agents will save hundreds of dollars. I’ve already implemented some of his advice that I can act on immediately and making plans for an internship where it will do me the most good. I highly recommend Hack Hollywood to anyone SERIOUS about an acting career.
Love the advice. Keeping me on the right track. I feel like there will be success!
There are plenty of people who will tell you how to succeed or ‘make it,’ and most are well intentioned, but you want to work with someone who has been exactly where you are now, struggled with exactly the same issues that you are stuggling with now, who is a lot like you, but who also figured out how to achieve his goals and become a professional actor. David and Hack Hollywood are the real deal.
If you’re lost, confused, and lack a certain amount of confidence, that’s only natural for a beginner. The trick is to ACT today, that will move you to where you want to go. Today’s working succesful actors simply figured what are the right actions to take and then they took them. They persisted, they pushed through, they never stopped learning, they got better at what they needed to get better at, and they did not give up. And they believed in themselves. That in a nut shell is what Hack Hollywood, or Hack New York, or Hack Anywhere, is all about: it’ll help you to believe in yourself by showing you the actions you need to take to succeed. It’s time to WAKE UP and start doing what you need to really do.
Wow, I couldn’t have said it better myself! Thanks Christopher.
Very valuable advice. So many things I never thought about. Hack Hollywood has definitely helped me see more possibilities when it comes to booking acting jobs. David knows his stuff.
David thinks outside of the box and tells you stuff that no one else will. I cannot wait until he posts his next insightful bit of advice. The thing about David, acting folk, is that what he passes on to you is helpful, refreshing, and tested in the trenches info that no one else seems to dare to share. Most of all, it gives you HOPE, people!
Since joining Hack Hollywood, my career is full steam ahead! The information in the modules is truly applicable and works. Davids’ knowledge and advice is honest. I am thankful to be a Hacktor!!
Hi, David.
I thoroughly enjoyed the seminar and took a few notes. You did a great job conveying your passion for acting and inspired me to continue on the path I am on. I am a fledgling Actor, Voice Actor and long-time Musician.
(*Note from David: Rob is not a Hack Hollywood member. He just watched the free webinar presentation: https://hackhollywood.com/signup/webinar-presentation)
David’s take on the business of acting is totally refreshing – there’s no bells or whistles, no hoops to jump through, just a simple, step-by-step plan to get ahead. Thanks so much for such valuable info!
Thank you Shannon
Well I have some good news to share…I haven’t even posted this on FB yet…lol… I have landed my first speaking role. I went to my first audition a few weeks ago and I got offered the role I wanted today…so this lil ol background actor is moving up!
I’m so grateful for Hack Hollywood. I have been working in this town for a number of years already and I love that there is a place for actors to hold themselves accountable, gain insight, share their experiences, and refocus. Like David said, the more serious actors we have here, the better the site will be. I’m revamping my career and Hack Hollywood is my path. Keep it up team. Let’s take Hollywood over!

Hi. I am pretty new to Hack Hollywood and had a recent consultation with David. He is a nice, upbeat, and direct, chap and very encouraging in challenging the way in which we actors have been indoctrinated to believe HOW we should approach the biz. He challenges the pervasive, accepted notions. I’m still learning how to change my thinking, with his helpful videos, and a couple good idea he imparted on me during our consultation. Looking forward to learning more. It’s getting me outside my comfort zone. Cheers.
